Anup Institute of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation conducts extensive research in the various realms of medical care such as methods of treatment, disease management, surgical procedures etc. AIOR has to its credit several path breaking achievements in the form of clinical publications and continues to strive in its pursuit of bringing patients excellence in healthcare.

Most research is led by our doctors, but research involves many skilled people - specialist nurses, pharmacists, technicians and administrators for example - and it could not be conducted without them. So we have an extensive team consisting of Research Coordinators, Statisticians and we have a full blown Research Department which is led by Dr. Ashish Singh .Independent Research Cell has been started with the aim of providing thrust to the research activities to be carried out at AIOR The Research Cell also has a fully functional Institutional Ethics Committee as per the requirement of regulatory bodies.

  • To execute translational research from bench to bed through hypothesis based, public health oriented, high impact research in clinical and para-clinical area

MISSION

  • To encourage and facilitate faculty, research scholar and students to conduct high-end research
  • To develop various high end research proposals for research funding
  • To support faculty and students to generate local evidences which helps to develop state or national health policy through translational research
  • To encourage students for conducting research projects by providing the necessary direction and seed funds
  • To support clinical trials which are sponsored from industry or other research organizations
  • To support research via development and implementation of ethical guidelines related to human and animal trials.
